Checked in-app on October 2, 2026 and re-checked on October 12, 2026. The trial offer was live and unchanged on both dates.
Membership pays for itself on fees alone once the delivery fees you would have paid pass $9.99 in a month. Everything after that, the percentage discounts, is upside.
These examples use sample fees to show the math. Your real fees vary by order and city, so run the same arithmetic with the fees on your last few receipts.
| Ordering habit | Fees without membership | Verdict at $9.99 per month |
|---|---|---|
| 1 order per month, $3.99 delivery fee | $3.99 | Not worth it on delivery fees alone. Use the free trial only if you cancel in time. |
| 3 orders per month, $3.99 delivery fee each | $11.97 | Worth it. Fees alone beat the price before any percentage discount. |
| Weekly orders, $4.49 delivery fee each | About $17.96 | Clearly worth it, and the up to 10 percent off adds more on top. |
| Mostly grocery orders, 2 per month | Varies by store | Borderline. Check whether your stores carry the $0 delivery fee benefit before deciding. |
The $12 Meal Deals already carry $0 delivery and $0 service fees at participating restaurants, checked in-app in October 2026. If most of your orders are Meal Deals, part of the membership's fee benefit overlaps with value you already get free. In that case the membership decision rests on your non-Meal-Deals orders and the percentage discounts, not on fees.
Order three or more times a month at normal fees and Uber One is the most reliable saving available to an existing Postmates user, more reliable than any public code. Order once a month or less and it is not, whatever the trial screen says. Take the 4 week free trial either way if you have not used it, and set a reminder before it converts to the $9.99 monthly price.
