Postmates Research Notes

Sources and Method

How every claim on this site was produced, and how you can check our work.

Primary evidence: the app itself

The offers described as verified in-app in this publication come from screens inside the Postmates app, captured on October 2, 2026 and re-checked on October 12, 2026. That evidence covers the Uber One trial and price, the $12 Meal Deals terms, and the referral amounts and conditions. In-app evidence is the strongest source available for offer terms, because it is what a user's own account will actually honor.

Secondary evidence: community reports

Patterns that cannot be seen from one account, such as how targeted promotions differ between accounts, are described from public community reports. Anything built on community reports is labeled community-reported and unverified on the page where it appears. We never present a community report as a tested result.

Our rules on dates

Primary tracking source

This report is the research write-up. The underlying tracking, the live code list with per code check dates, additions, and delistings, is maintained at Postmates Coupons, which is the source publication for the dataset behind these notes. If a claim here and the live list ever differ, the live list is the newer record and this report should be read as the October 2026 snapshot it is dated as.

Corrections

If you find a term here that the app no longer shows, that is a correction we want. Offer terms change without announcement, and a dated snapshot is only useful if its readers can flag where reality has moved. Note the date you checked, and what the app showed, and any responsible tracking publication will update its record.
